Kim Snodgrass-Holmes MSS
Thirty years experience social services for the State of Hawai’i. After retirement, five years as substance abuse counselor for Lokahi Treatment Center. Presently teaching at the University of Hawai’i.

Vice Chairwoman of the Board
Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Hannah LCSW, QCSW
Thirty years experience in Child Welfare Services, including Child Protection, Investigation, Case Management, Foster Care, Permanency and Adoption in two countries, Canada and the U.S.A. Married with three children, one grandchild. Continues to work full time for DHS Child Welfare Services of West Hawai’i doing investigation and crisis work.

Janice Brencick Ph.D
Advanced practice nurse, board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing of Adults. Maintains a clinical private practice and is contracted with the Institute of Family Enrichment. Co-author of a book and contributing author on several nursing-related textbooks and articles. Twenty years of service in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mother, grandmother and adoptive parent of two daughters. Active community volunteer.

Elsbeth “Beth” McKeen, J.D.
Family law attorney emphasizing adoption, guardianship and child custody. Formerly both a public and private school teacher. One of the founders of West Hawai’i Mediation Center, with thirteen years of volunteer mediation. Operated private mediation practice for two years, and for four years was
the Ombudsman for the Board of Education.

Patricia Mutch MSW
Eleven years experience as an independent contractor in the area of adoption home studies, sixteen years as an elementary school social worker and fifteen years experience in child welfare services. Actively involved in community—teaching, volunteering, and promoting community sustainability.

Glenn Webster Ph.D
Retired professor of philosophy, taught at university level for thirty-six years. Retired member of Service Area Board—Adult Mental Health. Author and adoptive father of two daughters.

Frederick Zarndt M.S. Computer Science, M.S. Physics
Twenty five years experience in software development, ten years with digital libraries, ten years as a business director for a non profit educational corporation. Teaches intercultural communications classes around the world.
