History

Professional Adoption and Community Services, Inc. is a non profit state licensed community organization founded in 2001. The founders, Monroe and Fran Woollard, worked with Harry Holt and orphaned children in Korea in the late 1950's and went on to become adoptive parents.

Monroe Woollard, MSW, has facilitated over four thousand children placements, founded three adoption agencies, worked overseas from China to Russia and has counselled hundreds of birth parents. His wife Fran worked in the area of health care and with orphans in Africa.

We at Professional Adoption and Community Services, Inc. hope to continue their legacy, as we honor them for their great contributions to the children, the families and the communities both at home and abroad.
